In this case, it's a carburator engine of 1977.
Good luck finding your numbers: it helps when you can remove some dirt locally. :wink:

Hi to you all, Thanks for the answers you sent me. I will check tomorrow and let you know. After passing the MOT test, I have to make new seat covers as the originals are in very poor condition. I do not know yet if to repaint the car as the original color looks OK and after a good polish / wax I think it will look much better. The original color is champaingn but I do not find the color number. Does any one have it? When I'll get it back (the car) I will make pictures and put them here for you to see. P.s.: How do I become a club member? presenting the club in Israel? Thanks, Amir |

Amir, here you will find the form to fill in to join the club. :P The color seems to be "gris cendré" 1514 or "beige nacré" 1384. Here you will find the list of colors... :P |

are in very poor condition Hello Amir, What is the colour of you seats? Does it concern your front seats only, or the whole set? Could you send us a picture of your seats and what is the production year of your 6 :lol: 4? Peugeot changed the model of the frontseats after 1977. Best regards, Paull |

Hello Amir, Yesterday I checked with a spare 6 :lol: 4 engine and indeed, there are two numbers, exactly between the oilfilter and the distribution cover. Monday I will try to make a picture of it. One number is for the enginenumber and the other for identification (type of engine). Have a nice day. Regards, Paull |
