Good evening,

How are you all?

I had a water pipe burst and I have talked to my mecanic which recomended me
to change the water pupm (still the original) and to change the water pipes (all are originals).
Where I can get a water pump and the all full water pipes set?

I also need the gaskets (full set) for the carburator? How do I know which type I have

Thanks

Amir

Good evening Amir,

sorry for my poor english.
Could you verify the type of your carburator, it's a Solex : one single body and a double body , or a Weber : one two double body only. I's possible to get a gasket kit, but one or two seals missing like the rubber seal of air filter, or the thermal hold. For the Solex you can get also the thermostatic probe.

Could you send a picture of your engine with out the air filter ?

For the water pump : we have a water pump kit to refurbushing it
For water pipes (hoses) : we have the commun hoses for all V6, and also another depend of equipement : carburator , Air conditioning, so it's required to know the type and the option of your car, such a picture of your engine we help us. We do not currently have heating hoses.

Regards

Dear Amir,

The following waterhoses are still available:

The two left straight hoses are available at any length and are not especially Peugeot. The
original one in the original packing is still available at the Peugeot or Volvo or Citroen or Lancia
dealer (you need two pieces of this part). If not available you can make them of ordinary
hoses (available at carshops).

As you can see on the picture below, the gasket for the thermostat has the following partnr.:

If you cannot find a new waterpump on the internet, the French club 6  4 International
can deliver you the parts you need for overhaul.

For the carburator there is indeed a set of new parts to overhaul, but I have to look for the
partnumber. (this set is only for the carburator but not for the choke).

By the way, did you already receive the parts you asked for?

Best regards,
Paull

Dear Amir !

Here is Georges , the new chairman , speaking : nice to hear from you again and nice to see you keep great interest in our favourite car :sm12: !
I'll just answer your last question : no , we haven't got any track of your 40 euros "contribution " for 2009 , for now . Could you tell us how you sent it (if so ) and when you've done it , please , so that we can have a look to the problem. ?
For the remaining questions , i'll leave place to our excellent specialist , Michel Collet , in charge of the " spare-parts department " of the Association, and of course to Paull and others for natural and genuine help .
In the meantime , please receive our best regards and let's hear from you again asap .
Georges
